Despite energy companies having had almost 20 years to get it right, there are still about 17% of invoices which have mistakes. Over the past 3 years, we have identified almost £1.2m of billing errors on our customers’ bills.
The biggest single error we have found concerned a multi-site customer with a total overcharge of over £100,000. This is an extreme example but the principle is can you really trust that the invoices you are paying are accurate? There’s a one in three chance they’re not.
As part of our service to you we will ensure your invoicing is being accurately presented for the duration of your supply contract. If requested we can also carry out a retrospective audit of your invoicing to discover whether or not you have suffered from historical overcharging.
